Research Overview
The researchers evaluated the AirPrep™ Bobcat and AirPrep™ Cub air samplers using a specially formulated Tween-free Wet Foam Elution™ buffer developed to support downstream biological assays and molecular biology workflows. The workflow enabled recovery of outdoor airborne particulate matter into a liquid sample compatible with biological testing and sequencing.
The Tween-free formulation evaluated in this study informed the continued development of InnovaPrep's application-specific Wet Foam Elution chemistries. Today, PBS-X Wet Foam Elution Buffer extends this approach for mammalian cells, extracellular vesicles, advanced imaging, and other biologically sensitive downstream applications.
