Technologies Designed Around Recovery

InnovaPrep develops technologies for collecting, recovering and concentrating targets from real-world samples.

From high-flow air collection and hollow-fiber concentration to large-volume ultrafiltration and patented Wet Foam Elution™, these technologies address different stages of the recovery process while sharing a common objective:

Recover the target-bearing fraction efficiently and deliver it in a useful form for downstream analysis.

Title

Wet Foam Elution™

Rapid Recovery from Collection Media

Wet Foam Elution™ (WFE™) is InnovaPrep's patented recovery technology for mobilizing collected targets from filtration and collection media into a small-volume liquid sample.

WFE uses controlled foam expansion to contact collection surfaces and recover captured material while minimizing the volume required for elution. It is a foundational technology used across InnovaPrep AirPrep™ and FluidPrep™ workflows.

Concentrating Pipette Technology

Rapid Concentration from Liquid Samples

Concentrating Pipette technology uses single-use hollow-fiber concentration devices to retain target particles while allowing filtered liquid to pass through as permeate.

Captured targets are subsequently recovered into a small-volume liquid sample using Wet Foam Elution™, combining concentration and recovery in a streamlined workflow.

Air Collection Technology

High-Flow Collection of Airborne Particles

InnovaPrep AirPrep™ technology combines dry electret filter aerosol collection with Wet Foam Elution™ recovery, providing a collection-to-liquid approach for airborne targets.

Airborne particles are collected onto dry electret media and can then be recovered into a liquid sample for downstream analysis.

Large-Volume Concentration Technology

Recover Low-Abundance Targets from Large Sample Volumes

Large-volume concentration enables low-abundance targets to be captured from liters to tens or hundreds of liters of fluid before recovery into a substantially smaller volume.

InnovaPrep's current EasyElute™ approach combines large-area ultrafiltration with Wet Foam Elution recovery and can be followed by secondary CP Select concentration when greater concentration is required. Current InnovaPrep materials describe processing of 5, 10, 100+ L samples, while published work highlighted by InnovaPrep demonstrates large-volume environmental-water workflows and optional secondary concentration.

EXPLORE LARGE-VOLUME CONCENTRATION

Different Technologies. A Common Recovery Objective.

Title

The appropriate technology depends on where the target begins and what must happen before analysis.

Air Collection Technology captures airborne targets.

Concentrating Pipette Technology concentrates targets from liquid samples.

Large-Volume Concentration Technology captures low-abundance targets from much larger fluid volumes.

Wet Foam Elution™ provides a rapid recovery mechanism for transferring captured targets from collection media into liquid for subsequent analysis or processing.

Together, these technologies support recovery workflows spanning air, liquids and complex real-world samples.

Technology Starts With the Recovery Requirement

Title

Technology selection depends on more than starting sample volume.

The target, matrix, and intended downstream method all influence the requirements of the recovery process.
