This protocol describes a practical workflow for preparing and concentrating carbonated beverage samples using the BeFlat™ Degassing Jar and the FluidPrep™ CP Select™ System.

When to Use This Protocol
Use this protocol as a starting point for carbonated beverage samples where carbonation, foam generation, or gas release may interfere with stable concentration.
Example sample types may include:
- Beer
- Wine or sparkling wine
- Hard seltzer
- Carbonated ready-to-drink beverages
- Carbonated water or flavored sparkling beverages
- Other low-particulate carbonated liquid samples
For hazy, pulp-containing, protein-rich, or highly particulate beverages, additional conditioning or clarification may be required.
Workflow Overview

BeFlat™ is used as a conditioning step to reduce carbonation-related interference before CP Select™ concentration. The prepared sample is then concentrated using the selected Concentration Tip (CPT), elution fluid, and downstream analytical workflow.
